Social Compliance Program & C-TPAT Initiative:
Teks Tech creates and executes clearly focused and industry oriented corporate trainings to help educate internal staff about key issues related to labor compliance, their own jobs, and workers.
The training provides mid-level management with an understanding of their responsibilities in the implementation of Social Compliance Program, including the Code of Conduct, local law and regulation, EHS and study of C-TPAT initiative, importance and its implementation at factory level.
The training is based on Indian Labour Laws, International workplace norms of International Labour Organisation (ILO) conventions and C-TPAT requirements as set by US Customs.
Quality Assurance Training:
As per a study, less than 6 per cent of the workforce in the Indian Apparel Industry has had formal institutional training and this figure is only around 2 per cent at the supervisory level.
